THE LICEU CONSERVATORY OF BARCELONA HAS HOSTED ON THE PAST 17TH AND 24TH THE PERFORMANCE 'FLAMENCO DE CÁMARA' FROM THE CORDOBÉS FOUNDATION WITH A GREAT SUCCESS AND FULL AUDIENCE.

This past April 24th, for the second consecutive Tuesday, Tablao Cordobes artists performed at the Conservatory of the Liceu in Barcelona, one of the most prestigious music schools in Catalunya.

The show started with a guitar solo by the prestigious player from Caño Roto, David Cerreduela.  The Catalan singer and guitarist El Coco and the guitar player Israel Cerreduela joined him after.

The protagonist voice was Angelita Montoya, gypsy from the Triana district of Seville representing a important artistic family, the Montoya, who belong to the aristocracy of flamenco. Angelita singing gave space to the very young dancers Ivan Alcalá and Lucía Álvarez 'La Piñona',  winner of the Unión's Desplante Minero Award in 2011.

The audience could enjoy an authentic flamenco show, which dragged on for over an hour, in an environment very different from the most traditional flamenco “tablaos”.
